Captain Cat Sparrow's Story

Meet Captain Cat Sparrow! Sparrow was brought into the shelter in active labor, and ended up giving birth to her babies in her kennel. We brought the whole family home shortly after, and immediately noticed that when Sparrow walked, her tush lagged a few steps behind her. Her foster mom joked that she must be a pirate because seems to have lost control of her booty

We originally assumed that she must have a neurological condition causing her wiggle, but it turns out she likely had a uterine infection that was causing her pain. As soon as she was spayed, she was able to run and jump and was 10000x happier. She is the sweetest snuggliest most funny girlie, and would be happy with or without a cat friend, as long as she has a human whose plate she can steal cheese from. She can be adopted with one or more of her kittens but she does like to have time away from them sometimes. Could Sparrow be your new first mate?

All Biscuits and Breadsticks kittens will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations, and be microchipped prior to adoption.

Interested in adopting one of our kittens? Go to biscuitsandbreadsticks.org/adopt and complete an adoption application to be considered!

Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to all inquiries individually. If your application looks like it may be a good fit for your selected kitten, one of our adoption coordinators will be in touch within 10 business days to set up a phone/zoom interview. We appreciate your patience, and we look forward to learning more about your family!

Biscuits and Breadsticks's Adoption Policy
All adopters will need to have an established relationship with a veterinarian (or have contacted one to initiate a relationship) before applying for one of our kittens. This is especially important for any of our special needs babies. A new adoption appointment with your vet should be made within 2 weeks of adopting your new kitten to get them started and ensure they have all of their vaccinations on schedule. Adopters may require a home visit either in person or virtual (depending on COVID). Adoptions will have a non-refundable adoption fee of $150. This is to cover the basic costs of vaccinations, spay/neuter and any other medical care that may have been needed during their time in our care. Kittens will not be adoptable until they are at least 8 weeks of age. If you adopt and decide you can no longer keep your kitten for any reason, please contact us to return the kitten to Biscuits and Breadsticks.
