Cappy's Story
Meet Cappy - your resilient little gentleman!

Cappy is a 4-year-old tuxedo neutered male who came into my foster care on January 24th after arriving at SpokAnimal via transport from Hawaii. Not much is known about his life before Spokane, but we do know this sweet boy has been through a lot.

Cappy is missing part of his right hind leg from an old injury. The good news? It has healed beautifully and does NOT slow him down one bit! He gets around just fine and enjoys his daily kitty activities.

When Cappy first arrived, he was very withdrawn and fearful. There were concerns he might react out of anxiety - but he has never shown any aggression. With time, patience, and lots of love, Cappy has learned to trust and has made incredible progress in less than a month.

He isn't a lap cat, but he does enjoy gentle pets, belly rubs, and playing with jingle balls. He loves cozy, secure spots (especially under a blanket draped over a chair!) and will happily roam his room now that he's feeling more confident. Call his name and he'll sweetly chirp back to you!

Favorite things:
Perching at the top of the cat tree to watch the world go by
Jingle ball toys
Churu treats (he'll lick them right off your finger!)
Cozy blanket hideaways

Cappy eats a normal kibble diet and is truly blossoming more each day. He's a wonderful, gentle boy who just needs a patient home to continue building his confidence.

Ready to give this brave sweetheart his forever home?
Email: astasiad@spokanimal.org to meet Cappy!
