Canyon's Story

Canyon loves attention. Being petted is the best thing in the world. And when he's being petted, he doesn't just sit there totally still. He is energetic with being petted and tries to help. He is energetic with most things that he does.

Playing is a great fun pastime for Canyon. He was found outside on his own and may never have had opportunity to be carefree enough to play, just play, Give up all his energy racing after some goody inedible toy. It's delightful. He will play with fishing toys or show his hunting skills on a toy mouse.

Canyon seems to prefer to be the only cat in the house. He didn't get along with the foster's cat so it's possible that a different cat who liked him and would play with him could be a good fit. He likes to look out the windows and we think he would be much happier if he has the option to go outside and show off his playing skills there. And maybe even his hunting skills. But when it's time to curl up and nap, he prefers to find a cozy place in the house that is safe and where he is forever loved by his human family.

He has a beautiful, ticked tabby coat in the fashion of an Abyssinian. We think he is about 3 years old. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898
