Canyon's Story

I'm Canyon! A young adult female kitty still learning about life. Staff at 4 Paws have been helping me get more used to people through interacting and spending time with me. I prefer to observe first then you can approach me slowly. If you approach too quickly, that could make me stressed. We can bond over some treats and talks! I love getting churu treats and hearing about your day. I love cat trees and cubby holes to feel safe in. I will need patience to gain your trust. I will hiss if you approach me too fast, so please go slow with me. I also like other kitties and a home with other nice cats will help make me more comfortable. I don't like younger children and may swat them. Older, calmer, cat-experienced children would be better for me. And my history with dogs is unknown, but a calm, cat-friendly dog might work out. How to adopt: because adopting a cat or kitten, or any other pet, is a serious decision, Sun Cities 4 Paws has a team of adoption counselors trained to assist you with finding a feline companion that is likely to be a good fit for your household. They will help you get to know the cats and kittens for adoption, answer questions, and provide information about cat behavior and care.
