Candy's Story

Candy is a senior girl who was surrendered to our shelter a few days before Christmas. Her owner had to leave the country for work and could not take her.

As you can imagine, Candy has been quite upset and is slowly trying her best to adjust. We would love to find a quiet home for her where she could live out her golden years in comfort and love.

She previously lived with another cat, but would love to be the center of attention, and and only cat. She has not been exposed to dogs, and we are unsure how she feels about them. Candy needs a home with no small children.

Candy has a little spice to her and needs a patient person who would be willing to work with her to learn to trust. Her fear sometimes makes her lash out.

We have found that gentle, quiet talk, and lots of treats can go along way in making friends.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and has been examined and tested by our vet. Come and meet this beautiful Calico girl at Pet Welfare.
