Weighing in at just under 7 pounds, she may be small, but she carries herself like feline royalty—dignified, gentle, and deeply deserving of a forever home that truly sees her.<br/>Candy has had a tough journey. She was first surrendered to a shelter when her family decided they couldn’t manage a baby and a cat. She was later adopted through our rescue and spent three years in a home—only to be returned, again through no fault of her own. She’s been let down more than once, but we’ve promised her we’ll find her the home she truly deserves this time.<br/>She lived peacefully with a dog (by basically pretending he didn’t exist) and would prefer a calm home without pushy pups. As for kids—Candy is not a fan of little ones who don’t understand her need for personal space. She’s not the type to be picked up and cuddled, but she does enjoy affection—especially when it’s on her terms.
