Camino's Story

Camino is a teenage boy who spent his formative months outdoors. He and his brothers
were discovered living in an equipment yard by a kind man who fed them and taught
them that people were okay. Camino's brothers were taken in by rescue early on. But Camino wasn't caught right away and he spent another frightening two weeks on his own before he was finally trapped.

Camino has taken some time to come out of his shell in his foster home and still carries a few habits from his outdoor upbringing, like seeking out safe, small spaces — his favorite hangout
is his cat cave. He has discovered that he loves attention, especially pets and
being told what a good boy he is. He is not quite sure about laps yet (unless they hold a cave for him to cuddle in). And he never had the chance to play with toys. But he's starting to get the feel of having a safe home to live in with kind people, and we think he'll soon find fun in laps and toys.

Camino enjoys early-morning treats and always appreciates a good meal. He gets
along with other cats but doesn't feel the need to socialize with them. He may be okay as the only cat but we think a cat friend in his new home would help him thrive. He will also need a safe, happy place where he can explore his own yard and share fun times in nature on nice days.

Camino is a sleek handsome guy who just needs a happy family to complete his journey into the new life of being safe and loved.
