CAMILA's Story
Hi, there, My name is CAMILA.
A Hiawatha Animal Humane Society foster mom took me and my siblings into care after her neighbor passed away.
They were not able to find our birth mom, so we were separated from our mom before we were ready. We were so tiny, hungry, scared and suddenly alone. My foster mom already had other foster kittens, so we were lucky in that we found another emergency family, so to speak.

My foster mom enjoys playing with me and I come when I am called. I love napping on my foster mom’s lap and it's not unusual to find many of us fosters on her lap at the same time.

Every day I am becoming more curious and I enjoy exploring my temporary home. The other fosters and I love chasing each other through a kitty tunnel, attacking a rechargeable bird that chirps and flaps it's wings and of course, stuffed mice, balls, springs and pipe cleaners!

My foster mom thinks I'm smart because I'm sooo inquisitive. I'm the first to come running when the treat jar is shaken. A friend noticed and feels that I could easily be eventually even taught tricks.

Even though I'm still small, I hav now been fully vetted including spaying and microchipping.
That means you won’t have wait to adopt me. My foster mom says that I am now “eager and ready” to meet my new forever loving family.

So, if you think I may be the kitten for you, please please call TERI at 651-448-0977

IMPORTANT NOTE: The HAHS adoption contract does not allow declawing of cats or kittens adopted from their organization.

Even though I'm still small, I hav now been fully vetted including spaying and microchipping.
That means you won’t have wait to adopt me. My foster mom says that I am now “eager and ready” to meet my new forever loving family.
