Camden is shy and not always visible when visitors come as he likes to lounge in the windows behind the curtains and this "hiding" of sorts causes him to be overlooked. He will need an adopter who is patient and kind and who is willing to give Camden the time and space he needs to feel comfortable in a new environment. He does great with other cats but dogs are an unknown. Older children may be okay but youngsters would be questionable as they may not understand Camden's need to go slow. Camden really is a misunderstood cat - he just needs someone to love him unconditionally and we know that person is out there somewhere. Do you have room in your life for a cat like Camden? *** Note: Due to the volume of inquiries we receive on a daily basis and limited staff to handle them, we are not able to answer general inquiries at this time. If you have a specific question in regards to one of our available rescue pets and submit an inquiry, we will do our best to answer in a timely manner. Additionally, we are currently forced to limit our adoptions to suitable adopters that reside within a 100 mile radius of our facility. Before you proceed with any adoption inquiries, be aware of where we are located in relation to your personal residence. Please continue reading for our adoption policies and procedures.*** BASICS Be aware that we have Fencing, Indoor Living and Declawing policies. We will not waiver on these policies as it is our responsibility to ensure the animals in our care are placed into the safest and healthiest environment possible. No exceptions made. * You must be at least 21 years old to adopt * The entire household must be in agreement about adopting the animal you choose * You may not adopt for someone else or for a gift * We encourage that all dogs under 3 years old attend training sessions, either private or group * Dogs and cats must live indoors * Dogs require fencing * No declawing of cats allowed ADOPTION PROCESS Please read through our canine and feline adoption process (found on our website) before submitting an inquiry or application.
