Calvin's Story

Meet Calvin! This 3-year-old longhaired black cat came to us after spending some time being cared for in a garage, and he’s understandably a bit shaken by all the recent changes. Calvin is a gentle and sensitive cat who will need a calm, patient environment to help him feel safe and secure.

Calvin will need plenty of time to settle in before showing his full personality, but with consistent love, gentle interaction, and patience, he can become a devoted companion. He may do well with another cat in his next home, and due to his current nervousness, we recommend a household with older children if any are present. With a slow introduction and a caring family, Calvin has the potential to blossom into a sweet and loving member of the family.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.
If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
