Callista's Story

Callista
F, 13 years

Typically, Callista wants a nice spot in the sun and for that spot to be in the same room as her person. She is very curious about what her family members are doing, but she wants affection on her terms. She is very skilled at being a space heater on beds and has perfected her frog impersonation vocally.
Callista gets simple pleasure in just laying near her person, but she finds true bliss with head scratches. Callista would do best in a family that understands her love is quiet, but loyal and they don't not push her to be more affectionate than she is comfortable with.

Callista gets along with dogs, and would get along with cats with slow introductions and similar activity levels. Children should be older/understand that Callista is an old lady who would like to keep her peace.

Callista is FeLV + and has kitty asthma. Her FeLV hasn't been an issue as she has reached her senior years. She does take an inhaler for her asthma that can easily become part of your daily routine and doesn't take long to do. She can co-exist with other kitties as mentioned who have the FeLV vaccine or are positive for FeLV too.
