Calliope's Story

Calliope is a stunning 6-year-old tortie with a personality as bold as her gorgeous coat. She knows what she likes-especially when it comes to wet food-and she's not afraid to ask for it!

While she can be affectionate, Calliope gets overstimulated easily and does best with slow introductions and respectful handling. She thrives in a calm, cat-savvy home where her boundaries are understood and honored. Once she feels safe, her unique personality really begins to shine.

Calliope isn't the kind of cat who wants to be fussed over all the time-she values her space, her snacks, and her peace.

If you're looking for a strong, independent companion who appreciates the finer things (like a good can of pate), Calliope might just be your girl. Come meet her at the Animal Protective League located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
