Callie's Story
Say hello to Callie! She came to TCHS with her siblings. She spent some time in foster care with her brother to become more confident. They still can be a bit nervous with new people but are willing to make new friends if given time. Callie is the more outgoing one of the two.

Callie has met small and large breed dogs and has done well. Callie enjoyed playing with the resident cat in the home. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition.

She should be fed measured portions of a high-quality cat food to help her maintain an appropriate weight and long-term health. Any necessary supplies or toys can be purchased from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe.

*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
