Callie's Story

A stray cat named Daisy knew the right home to approach for help. This kind person installed a cat door to his heated shop/barn to allow her access to come and go. Daisy had two litters but has since been spayed. These lovely people are adopting two, but need help with the others Marvin (adopted), Wally (adopted), Sadie, Callie and the mother Daisy.

All the cats are very friendly except Sadie who was born March/2025 and is the shyest of the group, but still eagerly comes for treats. She will need a home where they will give her time to adapt. All of the cats can be picked up and cuddled, although Sadie takes more convincing in the form of treats to not run away. The owner's daughter has held her for a minute or two, she doesn’t want to go anywhere else. They all purr louder than I would think possible when being held and cuddled. They all get along with the owners Havanese dog, Cocoa. Also, they are gentle and friendly with children.

Callie was a young cat that had disappeared from the property. She returned after 16 months. The man thought for sure she had succumbed to the elements. She is supper friendly and we this time around, we would like to get her adopted into a loving home.

Interested in adopting Callie, please contact us info@werescuecats.ca
