Caleb's Story
==> HART’S ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/232960843545058

Caleb was the only surviving kitten in a colony that has since been TNRed. While he's lucky he was saved, we feel pretty lucky to know him because he is one of those kittens who isn't bothered by anything and gets along with everyone.

Caleb is a happy guy who just goes with the flow. He hasn't met a cat, dog, or person he doesn't like. He even serves as the greeter to new kittens that have come into his foster home after him. He loves everything! Wand toy, toy track, spring toys, tunnel, vertical scratchers, horizontal scratchers … everything! He loves getting attention from people. He participates (and sometimes kicks off) the kitty-Indy 500 that runs through the foster home.

Caleb is fostered with several dogs and many cats/kittens and he gets along phenomenally with everyone. As such, he would do fine in a home with dogs that don't chase, other cats/kittens, and kids who know how to be respectful of a small kitten. Caleb really enjoys romping with the "Z" litter (Zack, Zander, and Zoya) and would be so happy if he was adopted with one of them. If not, he would do best to be adopted with another kitten near his age and who shares his energy level, but he could go as a solo pet.

You may have noticed Caleb's right eye looks different. We do not believe he has sight in that eye. Initially, we thought it would need to be removed. But, after weeks and weeks of medicine, it was determined that it is not a threat to his overall health and doesn't need to be removed at this time. We do want to note our vet said there is a small chance it could present a problem in the future. So his adopter should be prepared, in the event it needs attention when he gets older.

Born in May 2025 (estimated), Caleb has been neutered, microchipped, received age-appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FeLV/FIV/heartworm, and is litterbox trained.

With a clean bill of health for his eye, he's now on the hunt for his furever home.

Questions?
