Cal's Story

If you're looking for a very sweet and playful cat with cubby cheeks and soulful eyes then Cal is the kitty for you. If we could talk to Cal, I'm sure he'd have quite a few stories to tell. At about 6 years old, his life has likely already been full of adventures and his fair share of tough times, which shows in his adorably rugged and rough around the edges appearance.

Cal was found in a feral colony, with multiple bite wounds and teeth that were in need of medical attention. Now all healed and healthy by his wonderful team of veterinary professionals, Cal is looking to retire from street life and find a forever home where he will be pampered and loved.

Cal loves affection and is also an adorable goofball that will play tirelessly with any toys provided to him.

Cal is FIV+ which means his immune system is not as strong as other cats. It's important to know, however, that cats with FIV can and very often do live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. They don't need any special care - just the same annual check-ups that any cat should receive to make sure they stay healthy and that any health issues they have are caught and addressed early. Adopting an FIV+ cat is incredibly rewarding as so many are overlooked because of being FIV+.

Are you the forever family Cal has been waiting for?
