Cake Pop's Story

Meet Cake Pop!

Cake Pop is a 12-year-old black beauty with a gentle soul and a lot of love to give. She's a sweet girl who truly enjoys head rubs and quiet affection, but she can become overstimulated, so it's important that her people understand her cues and respect her need for space at times.

This good girl would thrive in a calm, peaceful environment where she can relax and enjoy companionship at her own pace. With patience and understanding, Cake Pop will make a wonderful, loving companion for someone looking for a quiet and affectionate senior kitty to share their home.

Cake Pop has FIV, which means she has a weaker immune system. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives, but she will need to be the only cat or live with other FIV-positive cats.

Come meet her at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
