Cailie George's Story
Meet Cailie George
Ready Late October

Cailie George is the ultimate mama’s boy. He adores his mom, Fable, and can usually be found curled up by her side. This sweet boy is also the “uncle” of the litter, always looking out for his siblings and giving off the most comforting, gentle vibes. When he’s not caring for others, he’s a big cuddler who would love nothing more than a warm lap and someone to love him back.

Cailie George will be neutered and fully vaccinated prior to adoption and will be ready for his forever home at the end of October. Because of his strong bond with Fable, we are giving preference to adopters interested in adopting them together. Fable loves her kittens but isn’t fond of other adult cats, so this pairing would allow them both to thrive.

? Our Kitten Adoption Policy
We follow adoption practices that put long-term welfare first. One of these is our policy of only adopting kittens out in pairs, or into homes that already have another cat.

Kittens raised without another cat companion often develop what’s known as Single Kitten Syndrome. Without another feline to learn from, they can struggle with:

Rough play like biting and scratching

Difficulty handling frustration or being left alone

Overdependence on humans for stimulation

Higher risk of behavioral problems as they mature

Cats teach each other important skills through play—bite inhibition, body language, conflict resolution, and respecting boundaries. These are lessons humans simply can’t provide. A feline friend ensures healthier development, less stress, and a happier bond for both cat and adopter.

Our goal is to set cats and adopters up for lifelong success. This may mean waiting a little longer to adopt, but it leads to stronger, healthier relationships.

If you’re ready to open your heart to Cailie George (and hopefully his mama, Fable), apply today at despuratehousecats.com
