Cactus's Story

A year ago, Cactus arrived in rescue with his mom, dad, and five siblings after being rescued as a homeless kitten. Since then, his parents and two siblings have found loving homes — but Cactus and his remaining brothers and sister are still waiting.

And truly, we cannot understand why.

Cactus is one of those cats who quietly steals your heart. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, prepare to have a permanent shadow. He will stick to you like velcro — following you from room to room, climbing into your lap, and soaking up every bit of love and attention he can get.

He has the sweetest soul and a gentle, loving personality that makes everyone here adore him. In fact, Cactus is a true volunteer favorite. The people who know him best can’t help but fall in love with him.

After spending his whole, young, first year of life in rescue, Cactus deserves to finally know what it feels like to have a home and family of his own. We would love nothing more than to see this very special boy curled up safely in someone’s lap where he belongs. And if you want to double the fun, he'd absolutely love to be adopted with one of his siblings! Looking for a home in the local area of lower SW Fairfield County, CT where he is located.

Contact straysandothers@hotmail.com for more information 🐾
