Cabbage's Story

Meet Cabbage! This 5-month-old sweet girl may be small, but she has a big personality once she opens up. Cabbage takes a little extra time to warm up to new people and animals, but once she feels comfortable, her fun-loving side comes out in full force--and she loves to play rough! When it's time to unwind, she is happy to curl up right next to you, though she prefers keeping her paws on the ground rather than being held. Cabbage has been exposed to dogs, children, and new adults. Because she takes time to warm up and enjoys energetic, rough-and-tumble play, any children in her forever home should be age 5 or older and comfortable reading cat body language. To help her feel secure and engaged, Cabbage can be an only pet if someone is home for the majority of the day to give her reassurance and attention. If your family is away during standard working or school hours, she must have a friendly, social pet in the home to interact with and keep her company. We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs! Pairing Cabbage with a littermate or another kitten partner gives her a match for her energetic play style, helps her build confidence much faster, and provides continuous mental and social stimulation. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet her! Cabbage's adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
