Byron's Story

Meet Byron.

Byron is looking for someone with a big heart. Will that be you? He has so much love to give you,

He was found outside wandering around and we took him in. He is very friendly and affectionate and loves to sit on your lap. He is a love-bug.

He is FIV positive but do not let this deter you from rescuing him - he can live a full and healthy life. It does mean that he needs someone who will take excellent care of him and take him to the vet if he gets sick. FIV can only be spread to another cat by a very deep bite and this only typically happens when un-neutered males are outside as strays and fighting for over females. Cat FIV can not be spread to humans or any other animals. So FIV in cats is really not a big deal, only to people who do not understand what it really is.

He is currently in foster with other cats and has no issues sharing space. So, he can absolutely go to a home with another cat. Or, he can be an only cat. Will you give this boy a loving home? You will be rewarded with all of his love given to you in return. Someone will be very blessed taking him home. You will later ask yourself - Who rescued who?!!

Byron is neutered, has age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea treated, combo tested for FIV & FeLV, and dewormed.

At the time of adoption you will receive all medical paperwork.
