Meet Buzz 🧡<br/><br/>Buzz is a handsome buff orange and white cat with an expressive face and a calm, gentle presence that immediately puts you at ease.<br/><br/>He was trapped on a block in Greenville, Jersey City during a TNR project, and it quickly became clear that Buzz is not a community cat: he’s a forgotten pet who still very much wants a home and human companionship. He’s currently living in our TNR holding space and patiently waiting for his second chance.<br/><br/>We met Buzz around Thanksgiving 2025, and his name came easily. He bears an uncanny resemblance to Buzz McCallister from Home Alone! Though thankfully, his personality could not be more different. This Buzz is a sweet, relaxed, and friendly boy who enjoys attention and carries himself with an easygoing charm.<br/><br/>Buzz appears to be comfortable around other cats and doesn’t seem bothered by them. If you happen to have a cat named Kevin (McCallister or otherwise) who could use a laid-back buddy, Buzz might be the perfect fit. His gentle nature also suggests he would do well in a home with respectful children of all ages.<br/><br/>We don’t yet know how Buzz feels about dogs, but potential adopters are welcome to bring their dog to meet him at the holding space to see if everyone gets along.<br/><br/>Buzz is neutered and vaccinated, and his FIV/FeLV testing is pending. He is estimated to be around 2 years old. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a kind, affectionate orange boy who seems grateful for every bit of love he receives, Buzz is ready to settle into a home where he can finally belong.
