Buzz and Rev are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work. <br/>Update Dec 9th - Buzz and Rev are at the Pet Valu, 610 King St W in Hamilton. Go pay these cuties a visit. <br/>Please read Buzz's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch.<br/>October 2026<br/>Buzz and her sister Honey(adopted) were found on a farm, no mom in sight and needing help. They went to a foster home for socialization and good food for them to grow. Buzz has been flea treated twice, dewormed twice, received 2 sets pf FVCRP vaccines plus rabies, spayed and microchipped . Her adoption fee is $350. Buzz is very sweet, loves to play especially with the feather wand and the springs. She is a is a purr machine. Her BFF Rev who she has been with since coming in to rescue has helped her along and they are inseparable. They MUST be adopted together. It is recommended that you start her out in a safe room with her food, litter and toys until she adjusts to a new environment. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. Little kittens are not appropriate for children under the age of 6.

Action Volunteers for Animals - Hamilton's Adoption Policy
All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens. AVA does not adopt out of province or out of country. Adopters should live within a one-hour radius of our locations in the Greater Toronto Horseshoe Area (GTHA). Due to the overwhelming volume of applications we are receiving, a response to short-listed applicants may be delayed. While we endeavour to contact short-listed applicants within 48 hours, a response may take up to a week. Adoption Fees: Standard adoption fees for cats and kittens include vetting, spay/neuter (at AVA's vets) , deworming, microchip, and initial vaccine at the time of adoption (FVRCP and rabies if age-appropriate). Additional fees may apply for cats who have had or are due for vaccine boosters prior to adoption. Testing for FIV/FeLeuk is not included unless specifically indicated, as testing is not standard practice.   As of April 1st, 2024 AVA’s adoption fee schedule will be as follows: Adult over 1 year: $250 (with initial vaccine) Adult over 1 year: $325 (with second/booster vaccine) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $275 (with initial vaccine) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $350 (with booster vaccine) Seniors ( 10+years) & special needs $200 Special breeds starting at $250 - a $75 additional fee may be applied for special breed who have had a booster administered prior to adoption Total fees will be confirmed by the AVA adoption coordinator Think you found your new best friend?
