Buttons's Story
Buttons is a stunning beauty with golden eyes. Her rescue story begins in a barn, where life taught her to be cautious, independent, and a little bit sassy. When she first arrived in foster care, she was scared and sporting enough mats to knit a sweater. But once she discovered regular meals, playtime, and treats, she quickly realized humans might not be so bad.

Buttons has since traded survival mode for self care. Not only did she patiently groom out every last mat herself, but she now keeps her coat looking silky and luxurious. She's put a lot of effort into her beauty routine.

Buttons is still learning that people are safe. She'll happily climb into a lap for treats, but lounging there for a long nap is a level of vulnerability she's still not sold on. She appreciates gentle attention, consistency, and snacks. Especially snacks.

Buttons is incredibly smart. She's a clicker-training star who already knows several tricks and picks up new skills faster than you can open a treat bag. If you've ever wanted a cat who's a tiny overachiever, Buttons is your girl.

She also gets along wonderfully with other cats and enjoys playing with her feline friends. Having confident cat companions may help her continue building trust and learning that the world is a pretty safe place after all.

Buttons is looking for a patient, understanding person who finds joy in earning a shy cat's trust one small victory at a time. When Buttons finally decides you're one of her people? That's not a prize everyone gets.

DOB: 9/23/24

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes.
