Butterscotch's Story

Who doesn't enjoy a butterscotch candy? Butterscotch over ice cream? Sweet and buttery, it's the perfect treat. Our Butterscotch is also sweet and could be just the treat your household needs. Butterscotch has had a rough few months - he was adopted but then was returned as the person didn't feel they could care for him. Since being returned, he's had struggles with a few medical issues but finally, he is much better and ready for a home that can care for him. Come see him and we can provide additional details.

Butterscotch's thing is spring toys. You throw them, he bats them back and then do it all over again. Throw in some chin scratches into between playtime and you've got a perfect afternoon. And check out his pictures to see him playing. The toy quickly hides and exposes strings and other objects. It goes pretty fast but as can be seen in the 3rd photo of him playing, he CAUGHT the string in his mouth! Butterscotch might not be a kitten - he was born in April 2020 - but he's still got the moves! Six going on seven is a perfect cat age.

Butterscotch's adoption fee of $100 includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. To meet Butterscotch, please call 602-971-1334 to schedule an appointment for any day of the week. Walk-ins are also welcome during our normal adoption hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix.
