Butters's Story

Hey! I'm Butters!

I'm going to tell you right now- I know exactly how beautiful I am, and I use it to my advantage- especially when treats are involved.

I was born on a farm to a stray mother cat. My shelter mom spotted me, my littermates, and my older kitten cousins during her drive to work. She collaborated with the farmer to ensure that we were all safely trapped and brought to the shelter. I'm so grateful for that, because the barn was far too close to a busy road, and it turned out that we were all very sick little kittens. After a round of antibiotics, eye ointment, and plenty of love, we have since become healthy and very spoiled kittens.

I like to spend my days lounging around the shelter and playing with all my kitten friends. When I tire from playing, I like to find a nice, high shelf to perch on while I silently judge you. To humble me, my shelter mom likes to remind me that she found me on a farm, covered in pig doo doo.

I like my quiet space, but when the wand toys come out, BOY do I get rowdy! It's like my shelter buddies and I are competing to see who can jump higher! Don't even get me started about treat time.. I love treats so much, that one time I pushed a 17 pound cat out of the way to get them!

I'm going to take some time to acclimate to a new home. It would be really nice if you had other cats or kittens for me to play with. Living with other cats makes me feel more comfortable. I like to cuddle with my cat friends too.

I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. I was born in the summer of 2025.

What do you say? Can this little fluffins come home with you?

Adoption Application:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCPA/Cat
