Butternut Squash's Story

Butternut Squash is a sweet little gentleman who loves to lounge in his hidey bed. He is chatty, snuggly and learning how awesome human friends can can be. Butternut has lived most of his life as a stray. He sought the help of some lovely humans after he developed a pretty nasty cat flu. He has since made a full recovery and now he is ready to find his forever family.
We believe Butternut may be a fan of female cats, but he has only been able to meet them from a distance. He does not seem to like the company of males. We have not seen him interact with dogs, but he did enjoy playing with the young humans that came to visit him.
Because of his history of being a stray we are looking for an indoor only home.
Butternut is about 2-4 years old, neutered, micro chipped, de-wormed, has his first set of vaccines, and has been treated for fleas. Butternut’s adoption fee is $360. Adoption viewing is available after your application has been approved and by appointment only. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact us at 250-414-0233 or sign up to our adoption waitlist www.vacs.ca/adoption/waitlist.
