Give her time, patience, and a calm approach, and she blossoms into a cuddly sweetheart. Once she decides you’re safe, she doesn’t just accept attention, she asks for it, jumping up to be close, holding your hand in place for belly rubs, and purring nonstop while rubbing her face against yours.<br/>She enjoys playtime on her terms, especially chasing balls and catnip toys around the room. <br/><br/>While Buttercup tends to retreat from younger children and would be happiest in a calmer household with older kids or adults who respect her need to warm up at her own pace.<br/><br/>Buttercup does well with other cats and will need a young congenial cat friend in her adoptive home to help her bravery.
