Buttercup's Story
True to her Powerpuff Girls namesake, Buttercup may look a little guarded at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is an affectionate kitten with a very loud purr and a serious love for her people.

Buttercup is a gorgeous tortie who is quite shy initially and will hide if approached too quickly. Give her time, patience, and a calm approach, and she blossoms into a cuddly sweetheart. Once she decides you’re safe, she doesn’t just accept attention, she asks for it, jumping up to be close, holding your hand in place for belly rubs, and purring nonstop while rubbing her face against yours.
She enjoys playtime on her terms, especially chasing balls and catnip toys around the room.

While Buttercup tends to retreat from younger children and would be happiest in a calmer household with older kids or adults who respect her need to warm up at her own pace.

Buttercup does well with other cats and will need a young congenial cat friend in her adoptive home to help her bravery. With patience and kindness, she becomes an affectionate and wonderful companion.

Buttercup was rescued with her siblings — Blossom, Bubbles, Ace, and Mojo Jojo — who are also adoptable.

DOB: 8/3/25

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes.
