Buttercup's Story
She’s Sweet, She’s Petite… Meet Buttercup!!

Buttercup is a beautiful orange tabby young cat who is seeking her forever home. She and her 3 mini-me kittens were scooped up from a colony for TNR. When the trapper picked up Buttercup from the vet clinic after her surgery, she realized that this was a friendly, socialized cat and didn’t want to put her back out in the colony.

Buttercup was initially extremely shy at her foster home (hid under a dresser for over a week), but has been blossoming and is becoming more confident every day. Because she still needs her inoculations, Buttercup has been separated from the other animals in the household, but seems interested in sniffing the door when one of the other cats or dogs is outside her room. She has seen the dogs briefly and didn’t hiss. She would probably be fine with a cat-savvy dog or another friendly cat or two. Unknown how she would be with children, but since she’s still a bit shy, older children who can go slow would be a better fit than young children.

Buttercup is affectionate, loves to be pet and is a champion biscuit maker! She’s ready to give some lucky person or family a lifetime of love and affection. Maybe that’s YOU!
