BUTTERBALL's Story

BUTTERBALL is a good-looking Tiger who was found as a stray. Unless he knew all the best places to beg or find food, he is much too rotund to have been a stray for too long! BUTTERBALL is very friendly and gets along with his roomies (though he will stand up for himself). He loves attention and loves gentle belly rubs, which is good as he has such a cute, round belly! We do not know how BUTTERBALL would be with dogs, but he is ok with non-aggressive cats. He seems to like the kids that have visited the shelter. And did I mention, he loves attention?!!

Whatever his past, he seems to not hold his recent predicament against people. He probably once had a home of his own. He came to us already neutered, so someone cared, but he may be a "covid cat" and was adopted, then left to "roam". How he became a stray is his story to tell, and BUTTERBALL is not talking. All he wants is food, a warm home, and people who will love and care for him, forever! Oh, and did I mention FOOD and ATTENTION!!

BUTTERBALL is FIV+ but can live a long and happy life.

For great information on FIV+ cats please go to: https://iheartcats.com/5-reasons-to-consider-adopting-an-FIV+-cat

DOB-10/2020 Entered Shelter-10/2025

If you would like to adopt BUTTERBALL, please visit the shelter during Adoption Hours, Monday and Wednesday from 4:00pm -7:00pm, Saturday from 10:am-1:00pm or call 231-773-3030 to set up an appointment.
