Butter, Sweet Flame Point Siamese Adult Male's Story

Sweet Butter came to me as a "shelter pull." He had been surrendered for unknown reasons, possibly due to his previous owner's death. I had him for about an hour before a member of our family took him into their home.

Butter was with his new family for about a year without incident. He was a good cat, content to lay in the sun or on a lap, or to roll over for a belly rub UNTIL a member of the family developed severe health concerns. His doctor said the cat had to go. So... Butter came back to me.

I've had Butter in my foster kitten room for almost 2 weeks. He adores the little ones and even plays "cat dad" with them, cleaning them and allowing them to snuggle with him. However, I brought in a young adult cat, another Siamese, and Butter is unhappy with his presence. All that being said, I believe Butter would be fine with younger kitty friends but not so much with another adult male. He enjoys being "the man."

He was neutered and received vaccinations at the shelter before I first got him BUT all that paperwork has been lost. I took Butter just last week to the vet to restart his vaccines to make sure his new and forever kitty parents have everything they need. He will require one last booster at the beginning of November to be completely vaccinated.

Butter is beautiful and sweet but he needs a FOREVER home. He is an adult and I'm not sure exactly how old he is. I estimated 2 years old on his paperwork at my vet, but he could be older. The vet didn't see any health issues with him other than 1 broken tooth that isn't causing him any discomfort at this time.

If you are interested in Butter, please reach out to me. Adoption fee is $50 and I do need to check your vet reference.

I have quite a few more foster cats and kittens. Please inquire if you are looking for a new fur friend!
