Butchie came to us as a stray. It was surprising that his original family never claimed him because he was a hefty 18 lbs., so he clearly never missed a meal! Our vet would like to see him trim down a bit, so Butchie is looking for a dedicated adopter who can help him stick to a healthy diet.<br/><br/>He has been staying in a foster home with one of our long-time volunteers where he is the only pet. His foster mom reports that he is a sweet and mellow cat who loves being petted. However, Butchie can occasionally become a bit overstimulated, so he would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can relax at his own pace. At approximately three years old, this handsome guy is ready for his next chapter. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
