Butch

What an amazing and resilient little kitty......Meet Butch! Butch is estimated to be 13 months old and weighs 9 lbs as of July 2026. What a rescue story this fella has......let us tell you. Butch is a survivor and a fighter with a heart of gold and a WILL to LIVE! He has a stunning gray/silver tabby coloring and a cute little crooked smile with the most beautiful green eyes and fabulous whiskers that everyone loves.

What is Butch's story you ask.......Well Butch was found as a stray by a good Samaritan who then posted him on Facebook to find him a loving home. Just as a rescue volunteer was searching the site BOOM there was the cutest little kitten with a cut lip and eyes that made you never want to look away sooooo that's when his rescue journey began. Butch was brought into rescue and placed in a foster home at around 6-8 weeks of age. He had a cut on his lip requiring the vet to remove that part of his lip which makes him a special boy with a unique smile :-) While at the vet, he was one of those small percentages of cats that tested positive for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). In order to save Butch and put him through treatment, he became another Facebook poster kitty requesting for help to save Butch!! Those fabulous Facebook fans helped raise money for his FIP treatment where he now has tested negative for FIP. While at the vet, he tested negative for FIV but he tested positive for Feline Leukemia so based on this diagnosis, he needs to be an only cat, or he can have a buddy who is also feline leukemia positive since feline leukemia is contagious to other cats. Nothing slows this boy down because he is a playful and happy kitty who is very loving, who likes his back scratched, LOVES his treats, and loves to go in the Catio so smell the fresh air and hear the birds' chip and the squirrels play chase up the trees while he watches for entertainment! He is also a good communicator because he will answer your questions or tell you he loves you or lets you know he is ready to go in the Catio with a sweet little meow. He will make someone who is familiar with FIP and Feline Leukemia a wonderful pet who will love you and be your best buddy. After all this little guy has been through, he deserves a loving home where he is the apple of their eye! So don't wait and get your chance to have a best friend who has a heart and will to be loved.

Please read and familiarize yourself with FIP and Feline Leukemia.

Apply today:
