Buster's Story

Meet Buster! I am 1.5 years old, and I came to the MCSPCA after a good Samaritan brought me over from Jamaica! Now it’s time to start my new life with a new furrever family.<br/><br/>I can be pretty shy, but with plenty of time and patience, I eventually warm up and come out of my shell! My favorite hobby is snuggling in bed and having treats hand-delivered to me. Since I do need a more low-key environment, having an adult-only home is a must!<br/><br/>One of my siblings tested positive for FeLV+ exposure, but I tested completely negative. Still, out of an abundance of caution, I shouldn’t go to a home that already has other cats. Come meet me and you'll see just how sweet I can be!

Monmouth County SPCA's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are welcome to visit our public adoption floor. If they see a pet they are interested in, they fill out a survey on-site and then meet with an adoption counselor. The adoption counselor goes over the pet's information and if deemed an appropriate match, the adopter meets the pet. If all goes well, the pet can be taken home same day if medically cleared.
