Bunny 's Story
Meet Bunny!

Bunny is a stunning white domestic short hair with golden eyes and a remarkable story. While out on a hike in Puerto Rico’s El Yunque Rainforest, she was spotted on the side of the road. After waiting patiently, she led us to her kittens, hidden among the trees, rain, and earth. Bunny and her babies made the journey home with us from Puerto Rico, and her kittens are now affectionately known as our Bad Bunny babies.

From the moment Bunny came into our care, she showed us exactly who she is. This quiet, no-fuss mama is affectionate, trusting, confident, and genuinely friendly. She is not shy and truly enjoys the company of her people, seeking out attention and welcoming affection with a calm, peaceful presence.

Bunny is an extraordinary mother. In addition to raising her own kittens in the rainforest, she immediately accepted an orphaned neonate named Mia after arriving in New Jersey, nursing and caring for her as her own. Later, when the Pokémon kittens’ mom was TNR’d, Bunny once again stepped in and nursed those babies too.

Now finished raising kittens, Bunny is ready for a life focused on her. She is easygoing, cat- and child-friendly, and would be happy either as a solo cat or adopted with one of her own babies. Mia does especially well with her.

Bunny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative.

If you are looking for a calm, affectionate cat with a generous heart and a beautiful story that began in the rainforest, Bunny may be the perfect addition to your family.
