Bunny's Story

This sweet girl came to us after taking a 30 minute ride under the hood of a car. This resulted in multiple fractures in her jaw, and head trauma but the injuries could have been so much worse. She also had an old infected wound on her leg and was very pregnant.
She had surgery to fix her abscessed leg, stabilize and remove part of her jaw, and to place an esophagostomy tube (feeding tube). Just 1 week into her treatment, she gave birth to 3 babies while in foster care. One of the babies unfortunately had passed but she was an outstanding momma to the 2 remaining babies!
3 days after delivery of her babies there was another orphan baby that was abandoned by its momma and needed some help. With no hesitation, momma adopted this baby as her own and has continued to care for this addition as well.
Bunny is now fully recovered and has completed momma duties. She is such an amazing girl and is so sweet to everyone she meets. She loves to play, LOVES to snuggle and had the most adorable little chirp.
