BUDDY's Story

BUDDY has moved to the lounge and isn't quite sure what to think of the place yet. Despite having been abandoned to fend for himself on the streets, this XL boy is mellow and sweet and appreciates the simple things in life, like a full belly and a nice place to snuggle in for a nap. Buddy is FIV+. FIV is not a death sentence; it only means a lower immune system. It cannot be transmitted to other kinds of pets or humans. FIV is only transmitted to other cats via birth from an FIV mom, or through very deep bites. Buddy has been around other cats and a cat-friendly dog in our program and has been nothing but a sweetheart. BUDDY is neutered, vaccinated, FELV/FIV positive, and HomeAgain microchipped.
