Meet Buddy Brown! One of the gentlest spirits we have ever met, Mr Buddy Brown is a true gentle giant. <br/><br/>He was a neighborhood stray and kind Samaritan took care of for 3 years but this winter after a confrontation and injury they brought him indoors. He did not thrive in that environment as a resident male cat taunted and picked on him. <br/><br/>Buddy ended up contracting FIV but those months (or years) on the streets did not crush this guys gentle ways. Upon first entering the FIV room he immediately found the most scared or shut down cat and offers his presence and protection. <br/><br/>FIV is an immune compromising disease so care to keep these special cats healthy is a must. We also recommend only adopting other FIV cats as companions. It is not contagious to humans or to dogs.<br/><br/>Buddy Brown has a history of food scarcity and that can some times lead to him growling at others during feeding time and has led to him consuming a discarded foam earplug thinking it was a treat. So a house with young children might lead to inappropriate things being digested. <br/><br/>He has been viral tested, vaccinated, spayed and taken care of by our vet team.
