Buddy

Meet Buddy

Buddy is a male tabby with swirly markings and some seriously impressive polydactyl “baseball mitts.” Born around July 1, 2025, this guy plays life like he’s always up to bat — friendly, outgoing, confident, and ready to sprint the bases the moment a toy rolls by.

He’s a natural crowdpleaser, great with children, fine with cat friendly dogs, and totally content being your only allstar. Buddy loves being part of the action and brings bigleague charm everywhere he goes.

Buddy was found outside as a stray, and despite his rough start, he’s sweeter than a homerun victory. He previously had a broken back leg that healed a little crooked — likely from being hit by a car — but it doesn’t cause him pain and doesn’t slow him down. He runs, jumps, and plays like a champ, and the vet gave him a clean bill of health.

Buddy is neutered, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative — fully ready to join your roster.

Adoption application: https://1by1catrescue.org/adoption-application/
