Buddy

Buddy is a very sweet, serious little boy. He has come off the mean streets of Baltimore, bravely learning how to live a more domesticated life. He is wary, sometimes fearful, but brave, eager to learn and hungry for love and attention. Each time he accepts love and affection is a victory that makes my heart sing. His acceptance of that very first caress has become an evening ritual of petting, allowing himself to be held (still stiffens up some, but a firm hold finds him melting and purring), learning how to play with kitty companions, and playing with toys. He is quick to learn, has a great appetite, and is litter trained. A little swipe of his paw is his way of expressing his affection – really cute! He still is a little wary of strangers, fast moves and loud noises but gets more comfortable with everything a little more each day. Buddy will make a wonderful companion!
