Buddy's Story

Hey all! My name is Buddy. I was heading down the street in January a bit underweight and sporting a mean cut on my right side when a kind person pulled up with a bag of food. I have been living with this foster family since then and my foster dad has helped me a lot. A doctor determined my back teeth (top and bottom) were infected and posing quite the problem so I needed surgery to remove them. I now only have my front teeth from fang to fang (top and bottom) but that hasn't slowed me down as I'm now a healthy 10 lbs. and can chow down on canned or dry food. It also hasn't stopped me from grinning! I am still getting used to domestic life and don't wander too far from my safe zone, but I love stretching out on the floor and getting back scratches or playing with my toys. I'm also trying to make friends with my foster family's older cat, he's pretty chill and doesn't much care to play but he does tolerate my attempts at friendship (head nudges, cleaning his coat).

The cat adoption fee is $110 (or $175 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. If interested in one of our cats please feel free to complete an application, found on our website www.secondchancepets.org, and return it to us for pre-review. We do not have a phone number so please email us at pets2adopt@yahoo.com.
