Bubeleh is a 6-year-old tuxedo sweetheart who came to us from a local community cat colony after developing a severe URI with bloody nasal discharge. With proper care, he’s healed beautifully and is now ready to finally enjoy the indoor life he’s always deserved. This handsome boy is: ✨ Vaccinated ✨ Neutered ✨ FIV-positive (no big deal, he can live safely with other cats!) ✨ FeLV-negative ✨ Litter box perfect ✨ A total foodie with the cutest, chubbiest cheeks Bubeleh currently lives in a foster home with cats of all ages and a couple of dogs. He does great with other respectful cats and mostly keeps to himself. When it comes to dogs, he’s fine with calm, older pups—but the young, wild ones send him into hiding. Despurate House Cats's Adoption Policy

The application process for adopting from our cat rescue includes several important steps: Application Form on Website: You must fill out an application form available on the rescue's website. This form will ask for your personal details, your home environment, and other relevant information about your lifestyle and preferences to help match you with a suitable cat. Vet Reference: You are required to provide a reference from your veterinarian. This helps the rescue ensure you have a history of responsible pet ownership and good veterinary care for your previous or current pets. Landlord Reference (if leasing): If you rent your home, you will need to provide a reference from your landlord. This confirms that you have permission to have a cat in your rental property and ensures that the living conditions are suitable for adopting a pet. Home Visit: As part of the adoption process, a home visit will be conducted. A representative from the rescue will visit your home to ensure it’s a safe and appropriate environment for a cat. This visit will also include meeting your current pets to assess if they will get along with the new cat. The rescue wants to ensure that the new addition to your family will be compatible with your existing pets and that everyone will feel comfortable and safe. Once all these steps are completed and reviewed, the rescue will make a decision about your application.
