We are now accepting applications for this sweet little girl, and she truly is a gem.<br/><br/>She’s a lovely mix of affectionate and independent — happy to snuggle in your lap or fall asleep on your chest, but also confident and playful on her own. She has integrated beautifully into our home and routine and is doing great using the litter robot in the cat room (thanks to her friend Nixxy showing her the way).<br/><br/>She loves to play, gives kisses, and is an all-around sweetheart.<br/><br/>Because she’s still young and learning appropriate play behavior, we would prefer a home without small children. Like many single kittens, she’s teething and can sometimes nibble hands or bite a little too hard.<br/><br/>She would do best in a home with a young, playful feline companion to help her learn boundaries, burn energy, and thrive socially.<br/><br/>With the right match, she’s going to be a wonderful, loving companion who has so much affection to give.<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards. <br/>No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!<br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably.<br/>Want to Know if I’m Still Available?<br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
