Brutus

The name Brutus means "heavy" and in its adjective form, it can mean "serious," which both perfectly describe this handsome beefcake! Brutus isn't fat, he's just a thick, big boned boy with an even bigger heart. But, don't let his serious expression fool you, because this senior citizen is as sweet as they come. He's the first to greet you in his colony room, and will follow you everywhere, twirling around your feet and rubbing against your legs, just hoping for some lovin'.

Brutus finds himself with us at a spry 12 years old, along with his 3-year-old brother Samuel, after their own sadly passed away and they were left outside to fend for themselves. But, they didn't skip a beat getting used to things here. In fact, Brutus may think this is his retirement home, but we keep telling him we hope it won't be his last stop. He just needs someone willing to give him all the love he deserves in his golden years. He's good with other cats, and would likely be fine with nice dogs and respectful kids. Brutus is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open.
