Bruno & Scooter's Story
We don’t talk about Bruno, no no no… except for this Bruno and his best buddy Scooter!

These two sweethearts are total snugglebugs who love each other to bits. They met in 2020 and have been inseparable ever since. While 5-year-old Scooter is on the shy side, he finds comfort and confidence in tagging along with his outgoing pal, 6-year-old Bruno.

You’d never know it from his sunny disposition, but Bruno has faced a few health challenges along the way. He’s had several teeth removed due to misalignment and also suffered through a severe mosquito infestation in Qatar. Like many cats with darker fur, he developed a skin allergy to the bites and lost some fur on his nose—possibly permanently—but it doesn’t affect his charm one bit.

While Scooter has grown from a scrawny kitten into a healthy adult, Bruno has lost some weight as he’s aged. Because of this, Scooter sometimes accidentally leans or pushes a little too hard during their snuggle sessions, which can momentarily annoy Bruno. But after the occasional mini spat, they’re right back to being best buddies.

These two boys have been through so much together, and they’re more than ready to find a loving home to call their own—together.

Interested in adopting Bruno and Scooter? Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
