Bruce's Story

Let me tell y'all about Bruce. This big hunk of burning love had been living on the streets for years. He is a retired Tomcat, about 3-5 years old, with half a tail, wounds, and scars that tell his story of hardship to anyone willing to listen. Over the last year, Bruce has had quite the adventure. One particularly nasty wound just wouldn't heal. It had to be surgically closed. Once that healed up, he had to have dental surgery to remove many of his teeth due to them being broken off and in bad shape, including his four canine teeth. But he is finally all healed up and ready to go to his forever home!

Bruce is a very social guy. He does not like being alone. He needs other animal friends and he absolutely loves time with his human. He wants snuggles, cuddles, bellyrubs, and playtime. Bruce is a low maintence dude. He doesn't require much, just company. He just doesn't want to be left all alone.

Bruce is currently in foster with three other adult cats, two large dogs, and a teenager. And he is doing great! So we are looking for a home for him with at least one other friendly animal that will keep him occupied. And if you have more than one, that's even better.

Bruce is FIV positive. However, FIV is only spread to other cats through deep puncture wounds and mating. And since Bruce has been neutered and doesn't have his canine teeth, there is really no way for him to spread it! It cannot be spread through casual contact or sharing bowls and beds.

We really hope we can find this amazing cat the perfect home. We really don't want to let him down. He 100% isn't the cutest cat you will find. He is overweight, has scars, bald spots, short legs, half a tail, and his tongue sticks out sometimes because he doesn't have all his teeth. But he is the BEST cat. He has ALL the personality. And he will love you unconditionally.

Bruce has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He is FIV positive, Feline Leukemia negative, and Heartworm negative.
