Bru is a shy and cautious cat, but she is incredibly sweet. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes very cuddly and loves sleeping on people. Bru loves to play and cuddle with her sisters! She does well with other cats and dogs, but she can be easily startled by visitors, dropped objects, or loud noises. Bru would love to be adopted with one of her sisters*, Zulu or Owala. Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS. *If certain kitten names are not listed, it is because they have been adopted. As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Home at Last Rescue's Adoption Policy

Completed adoption applications are reviewed by an adoption coordinator and foster home. If suitable for cat/kitten, they will be contacted for a phone interview. A vet check is also done. If interview and vet check are satisfactory, a meet & greet (either virtual or in person, at discretion of foster) with foster home and cat is arranged. If is it determined to be a suitable match for both the adopter and cat, adoption is approved. Payments and contract are completed virtually and pickup is arranged.
