While this diagnosis can sound scary, it’s important to know that many FeLV-positive cats live happy, comfortable lives for years. In fact, studies show that a significant number of FeLV-positive cats can live normal, quality lives with proper care and regular veterinary monitoring.<br/><br/>Brownie is still a normal, healthy cat who enjoys life just like any other kitty. She will need to go to a home with no other cats or a home with other FeLV-positive cats only. Eastshore Humane Association's Adoption Policy
Being a small, private business, we ask for your patience once you send in an application. We usually will be in contact within a week. You are required to meet the animal(s) you are considering. Make sure to release records with any vet clinic you list on the application, if you don't, this will stall processing. Once approved, you will be contacted to schedule any following steps. Cats will be scheduled quickly while dogs take a while to comply to WI laws. We will explain as your adoption is approved.
