Brownie Havana & Tuxedo Mix Mission Viejo, CA

Brownie is a wonderful boy (approximately 4 years old) who needs a home with no young children or other pets. He is loving and healthy but he has just recovered from a very serious injury.
Brownie had a broken sternum from a kick to the chest, presumably inflicted by a neighbour who had a cast on his foot and was walking on crutches the following day (I'm trying very hard to maintain my composure here as, I saw said neighbour myself the following day when I stopped by to visit Brownie after this vicious attack). Brownie had no other injuries and was clearly kicked rather than hit by a car or attacked by another animal. While it is a felony to abuse an animal this way, the police were not interested in investigating this case. I am trying to just be glad that Brownie has fully recovered and has a clean bill of health from the vet.

To say that Brownie needs a furrever home urgently is an understatement.

He is dearly loved by his rescuer and that is apparent in the amount of money she has spent on his care and on his emergency care which, is in the $3000-$5000 range but, in her words, "Brownie deserves to fall asleep at the end of someone's bed without either of them worrying that he will ever be abused by any human again".

Beautiful Brownie has one tipped ear from originally being tnr but, decided he would be rescued by Tina and is now a house kitty. His fur is so brown and unique, I've never seen anything like it. In the dark he appears to be a tuxie but, once you see him in the light it is apparent that his coat is not black at all but the most beautiful brown. Complements his beautiful eyes and disposition perfectly.
