Broomstick's Story

Name: Broomstick
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 1 year
Weight: 7 lbs
Animal Number: 4716

Social, Sweet, Cuddly, Easygoing

Good with dogs? Not Tested. Broomstick would probably need a calm dog since he is nervous with loud noises and fast movements.

Good with cats? Not Tested in foster care, but he was rescued from the outdoors and may have lived around other cats.

Good with kids? Not Tested, but he would do better with older kids who understand kitty boundaries and do not make loud noises or fast movements.

Energy level: Medium. He is interested in brief play with wand toys and other toys he can chase around. He likes to climb up to high places, including countertops, and may enjoy a cat tower or window watching spot.

Animal Characteristics: Broomstick is a social, sweet, cuddly, easygoing kitty who loves affection. He will approach you when he would like to cuddle and is very forward with his cuddling! He will rub his head against yours, sit in your lap, try to climb on your shoulders and hang his legs over your neck. He likes to make biscuits on your back while doing this. Broomstick is a stage 5 clinger on his own terms, and prefers to approach you rather than be picked up and held for long periods of time. He is shy when he first meets new people, then warms up and enjoys petting. Like most kitties, he is very afraid of the vacuum and other scary loud noises and fast movements. Broomstick is ready to bring happiness and cuddles to his forever home!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. My adoption fee is $125. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!
